Hi everyone,

Winter is still in full blast so I'm not going to switch to Spring designs just yet! For today's post I have prepared manicure inspired by 'tangled/zentangle' Christmas card. I've decided to paint it just in white over blue. This is how it came out:

I have used Bio Seaweed Gel in Daddy's Girl and Snow White, No Sanding Base Gel polish and Diamond Shine Top Gel polish. I have painted the designs using Nsi HD Detailer brush from their Secrets range.

And here are step by step pictures of the nail art:

Hi everyone,

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month I've decided to do a pink ribbon design and perhaps remind all of us that October is not over yet! Cancer is scary and to me the fact that breast cancer is so common is even scarier and I even find it hard and upsetting to write about it. Instead I will link to some relevant breast cancer websites where you can get information, donate or get support if you need it:

And now back to the nail art ;)  I've created this design using Bio Seaweed Gel products. Lately, I've been playing with them a lot since attending the workshop and I must say I find them easy to work with and the colours are very pretty.

For this design I have used:

Bio Seaweed Gel in Snow White #101
Bio Seaweed Gel Cupcake #241
Bio Seaweed Gel Lavish Me #229
Bio Seaweed Gel Strawberry Hills #210
Bio Seaweed Gel No Sanding Base
Bio Seaweed Gel Diamond Shine Top
Nail art brushes - Nsi HD Detailer Brush and brush from an art shop

And here is a video tutorial I've prepared for you so you can have a look how this nail art was created. It could also be adapted for working with nail polish or acrylic paint. I didn't cut out large parts so it is a bit longer but I hope you'll still like it.

I will be very grateful for any feedback you can give me. I chose a different video style with subtitles rather than narrating it - which style do you prefer?

Bio Seaweed Gel polishes are available from http://bioseaweedgel.co.uk (UK) and HERE is a list of distributors for all other countries.

Have a good day! Lucie x

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry for neglecting this blog, August has been so crazy with holiday and then trying to catch up on work. If you've missed my holiday blog post, check it out here.

I've been practising my one stroke painting skills and today's manicure is the result. As you might know I haven't had any official training so I have a long way to go to those beautiful professional flowers but I'll keep practicing until I get there!

The reason this manicure is on Lucy's Stash PRO is because I have used Nsi Secrets Prism Paints that are mostly available to the professionals only. But if you'll get a chance to buy them, go for it! I love especially the black because it's really well-pigmented and I often use it for fine lines and nail art. I need to test some other colours soon!

I started with two coats of black polish, in this case Models Own Liquorice. Then I've used the Nsi Secrets Prism Paints in Little White Lies and Deep Secrets to paint the flowers and leaves. All sealed with Seche Vite top coat.

So what do you think? Let me know in the comments! Lucie x
